Sauvignon Blanc
Ten Sisters Sauvignon Blanc has a delightfully fragrant and complex bouquet with underlying citrus aromas. Single-vineyard sourcing allows the terroir its full expression and elicits a purity of flavors. The palate is bright and elegant with refined acidity and ripe flavors. It has good concentration and length, excellent structure, and a well-balanced finish. The sauvignon blanc is given extended lees contact — more than the majority of Marlborough sauvignon blancs — to create complexity and to bring out fruit flavors. Excellent on its own or with seafood, chicken, pork, salads, and Asian food. No sugar added. Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Note.
Pinot Noir
Ten Sisters Pinot Noir is fruit-driven, with cherry, plum, and dark berry flavors. Exquisitely structured and balanced, it has smooth and light tannins. The pinot noir is aged with oak and made in a food-friendly Old World–style. It is superb on its own or with beef, lamb, duck, and savory dishes. Pinot Noir Tasting Note
Viticulture
In Marlborough’s ideal growing conditions, our careful tending of the grapes promotes their natural vigor. In the early growth stage, only the best grapes are left on the vine to ripen. A small portion of leaves are plucked in order to give the fruit balanced sunshine and further increase flavor. Finally, before harvesting, substandard grapes are again removed.
